RECIPE: Crescent Apple Pies

December 1 is National Eat a Red Apple Day. We thought we’d feature our Sweet Gala apples in this delectable dessert perfect for any appetizer party or fun afternoon project.

You’ll need:
2 Dippin’ Stix Sweet Gala Apple products
2 cans of crescent rolls
3 heaping Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. melted butter

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out the dough on a greased cookie sheet, brush with melted butter.

2. Combine the brown sugar & cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the dough.

3.  Place an apple slice at the narrow end and roll. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Repeat. Bake for 12-15 minutes until dough edges are golden brown.

4. Drizzle with caramel from Dippin’ Stix tray. Serve warm & enjoy!
