RECIPE: Apple & Almond Energy Bites

Need a little boost of energy in your snack? Try these energy bites! Easy to assemble, great for a quick snack, they’ll even freeze well for future snacking!

Here’s what you need:

A food processor/blender
2 cups quick oats
2 trays of Dippin’ Stix Sliced Apples & Yogurt Fruit Dip
1 cup almond butter
2 Tbsp. Hemp seeds
2 Tbsp. Chia seeds
2 tsp. cinnamon



In the food processor, combine the apples, oats, seeds, and cinnamon and mix.



Slowly add in the almond butter or move the apple mixture to a mixing bowl and stir in the almond butter. (We found that the almond butter was a bit too sticky to mix well in the food processor). Optional: Add 2 Tbsp. Honey for some added sweetness!



Form the mixture into balls onto a baking pan with a small lip around the edge (to prevent them from rolling off!). Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.



Serve with the Yogurt Fruit Dip from the Dippin’ Stix trays for dipping! Store in the fridge or freeze them for future snacking.
